Providing Total Medical Record Solutions

Are you looking to :
Store Medical Records? Closing a Practice? Need ROI Processing? Closing a Hospital? Need Medical Record Storage?

Welcome To Morgan Medical Records

The medical records custodian is the person or company that has been designated to handle your private healthcare records so that you can be free of legal obligation and future medical record requests from patients.

When a medical practice closes, they will need to elect a custodian of medical records to manage all health care information requests going forward. It is the medical practice’s obligation to have a company or new medical group properly store and handle all future requests for medical records, otherwise, there is the potential of a lawsuit. Custodians who agree to retain records can be either a person or a company.

We provide nationwide full service solutions.

What are the steps to close my practice?

Our goal is to take over the full process away from your practice to relieve you of all associated burdnes and provide quick access solutions for your patients.

The biggest step is contacting us to begin the process of being your medical records custodian. We'll relieve you of all associated strese and quickly provide your patients with file transfers.

Provide a closing checklist - tasks for 30 - 60 days prior to closing and notifications that need to be made 60 - 90 days prior to closing.

We'll prepare all medical records in paper or electronic format for transfer to Morgan Records.

All paper files are digitized and electronic records are transferred and indexed in our Morgan Records servers.

We'll handle the process of notifying all of your patients and provide them with a smooth transition solution for transferring their data.

Simple as that, your practice can close stress free!

From here on out we'll handle all contact with patients including medical records requests and transfers.

Closing My Medical Practice

What Other Physicians Say

When I retired from the Practice of Medicine in 2019, the solution to the storage of my medical records was promptly addressed by Morgan Records Management. They are HIPAA compliant, professional and courteous. Having been in practice prior to EMR, I did maintain paper charts. I contacted Jason DeLuca, the business manager, at their Manchester, New Hampshire office. He clearly stated the terms. My very capable and efficient office manager boxed the records and index cards. Morgan Records Management picked up the records for storage. I strongly recommend their services. Look them up online.
